Local Lockdowns & Coronavirus : 20200320
Crewmembers,
As we continue to receive emails at the covid19@iap2750.org email address, we have seen that a lot of the emails are in regards to questions stemming from State issued “lockdowns” and whether or not the “shelter-in-place” orders are applicable to the crew members at Atlas Air. We are part of the transportation system, and as such are included in the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers group as shown in the picture from DHS CISA site. Here is the link to what was published from the CISA about the COVID-19 essential workers.
If you are in a State that has issued a ‘shelter-in-place,’ you are exempt from the ban if you are going to or currently on a duty assignment.
