The Aeromedical, Insurance, and Sick Bank Committee assists our pilots with maintaining FAA Medical Certification as well as working to disseminate pertinent medical information to our pilot group. The committee also assists in all insurance related issues related to benefits provided to pilots through the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The committee also works with Aviation Medical Advisory Service (AMAS) to provide our pilot group with FAA Medical Certification assistance. AMAS consists of aerospace physicians, nurse case managers, and administrative support. The committee works closely with AMAS to ensure our pilots receive any medical assistance needed.
